What is the difference between Fast Digital and Discount Priced?

• Fast Digital Stationery products are dispatched to you within 5 full business days of you approving a file to be printed, and you can request your Fast Digitally Printed Stationery products be sent to you after only one, two, three or four days.
• Discount Priced Stationery products can be dispatched to you within 7 full business days of you approving your file to be printed, or you can select the 12-day Economy option or the 21-day Super Economy option.

So:

• First decide what type of stationery product you want (e.g.; letterhead, DL envelopes, appointment cards, etc);
• Then determine the production speed you desire (i.e.: Fast Digital or Discount Priced).

What is sustainable plantation and recycled paper?

Recycled paper is an easy concept to undertand — the paper has been used previously. It might be that the paper has been gathered from consumers (e.g.: from the wheelie bins outside houses) or has been gathered from commercial enterprises (e.g.: the off-cuts from commercial printing companies). What happens when the used paper has been gathered together is just as simple to undertsand: the used paper is turned into a pulp, any ink is removed from the pulp, and then that pulp is used to create a clean recycled paper.

Much of our recycled paper is a mix of 55% recycled paper and 45% sustainable plantation paper, or 70% recycled paper and 30% sustainable plantation paper. We cannot used 100% recycled paper all of our stationery products for two reasons. First, some paper is polished after it is manufactured (e.g.; appointment card recycled paper), and 100% recycled paper is not a good paper to polish — it starts to go a bit fury. Second, when paper is recycled many times, its fibres starts to loose their strength, so some new sustainable plantation paper is mixed with the recycled paper to give the paper some strength.

Our With Compliments slips and our A4 letterhead have a 100% recycled paper option. The reason why these products can use 100% recycled paper is that the paper does not need to be polished and, given they are not polished, the recycled paper manufacturer uses recycled pulp that comes from paper that has not been recycled previously, or has been recycled only once or twice.

Sustainable plantation paper is paper that is grown from plantations, and those plantations adhere to strict environmental standards, such as conserving water and banning pesticides.
