Recycled paper and sustainable plantation paper

TheOnlinePrinter minimises its effect on the environment by using only recycled papers or sustainable plantation paper.

Recycled papers are, as the name suggests, papers that reuse paper. Papers that do not need polishing can be 100% recycled, and our 100% recycled paer products are A4 letterhead printed on 100% recycled paper and with compliments slips printed on 100% recycled paper.

We also offer a 70% recycled paper option, and the product that is printed on 70% recycled paper is envelopes printed on 70% recycled paper.

The last recycled paper option that TheOnlinePrinter offers is 55% recycled paper, and those products include:

Sustainable plantation paper consists of paper that comes from plantations that follow strict rules. Those rules include minimising the use of water, and not using pesticides.

Almost all of our products are avalbale in sustainable plantation paper, and the products that are not offered in sustainable plantation paper are not able to be offered in sustainable plantation paper for very good reasons (i.e.: fridge magnets are not made of paper, and bumper stickers are not made of paper).

 

Skills

Many printers have the skills required to produce printed material. Many printers have the machines required to produce printed material. Very few printers have BOTH the skills and the machines required to produce printed material.

Some of our procedures are trivial, and we admit such. But those trivial checks ensure that only the best products are presented to our couriers. Some of our trivial procedures include: ‘creep allowed for', ‘have corrections caused job to reflow', ‘order matches number of copies produced', ‘signed-off proof and printed pages match' and ‘folds accurately'.

We package jobs properly (e.g. squashing too many cards into a box can damage the cards), and we use robust packages so your job is not damaged in transit.

  

Accountable

Every person is accountable for their work and, at each stage of production, each item on our quality control checklist must be signed-off by the person whom is responsible. Furthermore, each person is happy to be accountable for their conduct.

 

Deadlines

Customers have deadlines. Customers require their finished product by a certain date. Most printers do not understand that simple fact. Most printers give ‘estimates' as to when your job will be finished.
