TheOnlinePrinter's Online Poster Printing Services offer posters in six sizes:
- A4 – 210mm x 297mm, or the same size as a standard business letter;
- A3 – 297mm x 420mm, or the size of two standard business letters placed side-by-side;
- A2 – 420mm x 594mm, or four times the size of an A4 poster;
- A1 – 594mm x 840mm, or eight times the size of an A4 poster;
- B1 – 1,000mm x 700mm, or ten times the size of an A4 poster;
- Pole posters – 860mm x 340mm.
Posters can be either portrait, which is the usual format, or landscape.

Digital Printing Services: Full Color Online Poster Printing
Our digital printing services section offers full colour posters in any quantity, with full colour fronts, and your choice of full colour, black and white or blank backs.
Rapid digitally printed full colour posters are only offered in A3 and A4 sizes. The two greatest advantages of our digitally printed posters service over our discount priced posters are:
- You can order small runs; and
- You can have your job printed quickly.

Your digitally printed full color poster printing order can contain as many designs as you wish, but orders for each design must be in equal amounts and for at least 250 of each design. For instance, you could submit three poster designs with one order of 900 digitally printed full color posters (i.e.: 300 of each design).
If you place the one order for several full colour posters, just ensure that your poster file has the front of poster one as page 1, the back of poster one as page 2, the front of poster two as page 3, the back of poster two as page 4, and so on.

Environmentally friendly paper
You can have your posters printed on sustainable plantation paper stocks, or on 150gsm recycled paper.
What are sustainable plantation and recycled papers?
Recycled poster paper is, quite simply, paper that has been used again.
What happens is:
- Paper is gathered from consumers. This paper might be sourced from the wheelie bins placed outside suburban homes once each week or second week, or it might come from the large industrial bins that are often outside the front of factories and offices — in fact, the vast majority of paper that is offered for recycling comes from the large industrial bins that are often outside the front of factories and offices.
- That paper is then turned into a pulp, any ink is removed from that pulp, and then that pulp is used to create a clean recycled paper.
The recycled paper that we use for our posters printing is a blend of 55% recycled paper and 45% sustainable plantation. The reason for the blended paper, rather than a 100% recycled paper, is that the paper needs to be polished. 100% recycled paper is currently too hard to polish—it can become a bit fury.
Sustainable plantation paper is paper that is grown from plantations, and those plantations adhere to strict environmental standards, such as conserving water and not using pesticides.
Bleeds and Your Full Color Poster Printing
If your posters will print right to the edge of the page, please be sure to supply your file with bleeds. Learn more about bleeds here. If you do not understand about bleeds, then you should make it your business to find out, otherwise it might all end in tears.
