TheOnlinePrinter is a postcard supplier and postcard printer, and our full colour printed postcards are supplied and printed in four sizes:
- Mini postcards — 105mm x 74mm A7 size, this is one-eighth (1/8th) the size of a standard business letter;
- Standard postcards — this is the commonly-used 148mm x105mm A6 size, and is one-quarter (¼) the size of a standard business letter;
- Landscape postcards — 210mm x 99mm DL size, and is one-third (1/3rd) the size of a standard business letter; and
- Jumbo postcards — 210mm x 148mm A5 size, and is one-half (½) the size of a standard business letter.
All full colour printing of postcards can be ordered in the normal 'landscape' format, or in the 'portrait' format.
Full Colour Digital Post Card Printing
Digitally printed postcards are printed in full colour on the front, but you can choose the back that you want (i.e.: full colour or blank).
There are two reasons for ordering digital postcard printing:
- You can order small runs; and
- You can have your job printed quickly.
You may order a hard-copy online proof if you submit your own file and and use our fast digital printing service. However, hard-copy proofs are not available if you use our free online postcard design service.

Full colour digitally printed postcards can be ordered in any quantity from our regular digital postcard printer section, and you can place up to ten designs with the one order, provided you order at least 250 of each design and each design is ordered in equal numbers. For instance, you could order 300 each of four different designs, and pay the 1,200 full colour postcard printer rates.
Discount and Cheap Full Colour Postcard Printer
Our discount priced full colour postcard prints are supplied in set quantities, and you can have uncoated or Cello-glazed fronts. Our discount priced postcards are price competitive (i.e.: you can buy them cheaply).
Our discount priced postcards can have up to ten different designs on the one order, but each design must be ordered in equal quantities..
Online proofs are available if you submit your own file and use our discount priced full colour printing service. However, hard-copy proofs are not available with our discount priced full colour printing service.

Bleeds and Your Full Colour Postcard Printing
If your postcards will print right to the edge of the page, then please be sure to supply your file with bleeds. Click here to go to our explanatory page on bleeds.
If you do not want to find out about bleeds, then the easiest way to prepare your postcard file is to use our free online postcard design service. All you need do is:
- Save your file as a JPEG file; and
- Upload your JPEG file via our free online postcard design service.
You receive an online proof immediately. Also, you will not have to pay a file processing fee.
Files We Accept for Printing
We accept almost any type of file for pressing, and you can have up to ten different designs with each postcard printing order. You can see what we accept on our printing files accepted page.

Free Postcard Design Service
Use TheOnlinePrinter's free online design service to create a printed postcard from scratch or to submit your existing postcard file. You can design double-sided postcards online. You can place your text and images wherever you wish, and you can choose to have background colours or background images too. We even provide templates for those who might need a bit of assistance.

There are several advantages of using our free online postcard printer design service:
- There is no file processing fee if you use the free online design service, whereas if you submit your own file via the regular ordering pages there is a file processing fee;
- You can get an online proof of your postcard immediately, whereas files submitted via the regular ordering pages may not be processed until the end of the next business day; and
- You know that your file has been accepted to be printed, whereas you will not know whether your file is 'press ready' if you submit your file via the regular ordering pages.
Postcard Printing Paper Stocks
Post card printing is really a bit of a specialized art, and a quick method of determining if you will be getting your postcard printing from a reliable source is to examine what paper stocks the postcard printing company uses.
Our digitally printed full colour postcards are created using 350gsm stock, and our discount-price postcard is done on 310gsm Satin Art Board.
We also offer a 350gsm stock that is a blend of recycled and sustainable plantation paper.
Never accept paper stock that is below 330gsm, or Art Board Stock less than 310gsm - it is just paper. Whilst your postcard printing job might look good, the card will not weather the storm of the post or a postcard rack.
