Magnetic business cards are offered in the standard business card size, which is 90mm x 55mm.

Magnetic business cards are printed in full colour, but are printed on the front only.

The front of the magnetic business card is vinyl, and the vinyl is placed onto a 0.9mm flexible magnet.

The front of all magnetic business cards are covered in a gloss celloglaze. This prolongs the life of the magnetic business card when it is placed on filing cabinets, fridges and the like. Gloss celloglaze also makes the colours on the magnetic business card brighter or richer.

Magnetic business card delivery

Once we have printed your magnetic business cards, we then have it delivered to your door.

TNT's Road Express service has the following delivery times:

  • Sydney and regional NSW, Melbourne, Geelong and north east Victoria, Canberra and the ACT; Brisbane, Gold Coast and the south east corner of Queensland, and Adelaide — normally over night, but some time it takes a day or two.
  • Hobart and regional Tasmania, regional south east Queensland, regional Victoria and regional South Australia — normally a day or two, but some times up to three days.
  • Perth, Darwin, regional central and far north Queensland, regional Western Australia and the Northern Territory — normally four or five days, but sometimes a bit longer to remote parts of the country.

If you need your magnetic business cards quickly, then TNT's Overnight Express service will deliver your job overnight, no matter where you are in Australia.

If you select the Australia Post service, the the delivery will follow normal postal delivery times.

 

Images and Artwork on Magnetic Business Cards

Magnetic business cards can have whatever you want on them. You can have text or photos (perhaps a photograph of you) or logos or whatever.

If you are going to place some artwok on your magnetic business card, then make sure that you DO NOT get your artwork off the Internet. All artwork for your magnetic business card MUST have a resolution of at least 300 dots per inch. Images that are found on the Internet will most likely have a resolution of only only 72 dots per inch, and this is 'too low' for printing purposes.

Images that are below 300dpi will appear pixilated or blurred when they are printed on magnetic business cards (or printed on paper for that matter too).

Even if you see a great image on the internet, we suggest you do not use it. Your eye is accustomed to seeing images on your computer screen, and your eyes automatically compensate for those poor quality images when you se them on a PC screen. However, if you place those same images onto a magnetic busi9ness card (or a paper business card), then  your eyes do NOT compensate. You are accustomed to seeing crisp and clean images on paper (newspapers excepted) and vinyl, and your eyes are trained to want to see crisp and clean images on business cards (whether they are paper business cards or magnetic business cards).

Please be aware that images and artwork that you obtain from the Internet CANNOT be 'improved' or 'repared' to make them 300dpi. If you get an image or artwork from the Internet that is 72 dpi and you alter it to 300dpi, then all you will create is a pixilated or blurred image that is set at 300 dpi — changing the resolution of a magnetic business card file will not improve the image.
