Adobe InDesign is a great program when it comes to wrapping text around images and objects.

The screen shot below is the top half of an A4 file that has been created in Adobe's InDesign software. This InDesign file has some text.

The next screen shot is the same InDesign file, but a photograph has been added to the top right of the page. You will notice that the text continues over the image.

We want to wrap the text around the image so that the text is easy to read. In this case, we want the text to start 'just to the right' of the image.

First, highlight the image that the text is required to wrap around. This is a simple task of placing your mouse over the relevant image, and continue clicking the mouse, or double click the mouse, until a brown line appears around the relevant image. In the below screen shot, the photo has a brownish line around it.

You the choose: "Window" > "Text Wrap" — the below image shows where you will find "Window' and "Text wrap" on an Apple Mac.

Your screen will then get a pop-up box similar to the box in the below screen shot.

We want to have the text wrap around the left and the bottom of the image, so click the button that has the red arrow pointing to it (see below screen shot). What you will notice is that the text wraps around the image immediately the button is selected.

Once you have selected the type of text wrapping you want on your InDesign file, close the box.

We now have an image with the text wrapped around the photograph.

You now simply "Save" your file and the text is wrapped around the image .
