Envelope delivery

TheOnlinePrinter is a Campbelltown-based printing company — Campbelltown is an outer-suburb of Sydney. However, we deliver all around Australia, and to most parts of the world too. The estimated delivery times are:

Australian delivery times:
- TNT Road Express service:
  - Sydney, regional NSW, Canberra, north east Victoria, Melbourne, Geelong, Adelaide, Brisbane, Gold Coast and the south east corner of Queensland — delivery is normally the day after the envelopes are dispatched.
  - Hobart, regional Tasmania, regional Victoria, the south east corner of South Australia, southern regional Queensland — delivery is normally a day or two after the envelopes are dispatched.
  - Perth, Darwin, Alice Springs, central and far north Queensland, and remote South Australia — delivery is normally three to five days after the envelopes are dispatched.
  - Elsewhere in Australia — delivery is normally five to seven days.
- TNT Overnight First Class service — your envelopes will be delivered sometime the day after we dispatch them.
- Australia Post — if you select Australia Post as the delivery option, then your envelopes' journey will follow the normal postal timetable.
TNT Global Express service — international deliveries vary between two days (to Singapore and New Zealand) to six or seven days (to Ghana).

Envelope sizes

TheOnlinePrinter's laser-printer safe envelopes are supplied four sizes:

Small C6 Envelopes — C6 Envelopes measure 162mm x 114mm, and accommodate standard business letters that are folded into quarters — printed on recycled paper;
Standard DL Envelopes — DL Envelopes (also called DLX Envelopes) measure 220mm x 110mm, and accommodate standard business letters that are folded into thirds — printed on recycled paper;
Large C5 Envelopes — C5 envelopes measure 229mm x 162mm, and accommodate standard business letters that are folded in half — printed on recycled paper; and
Jumbo C4 Envelopes — C4 Envelopes measure 324mm 229mm, and accommodate a standard business letters that are flat (i.e.: unfolded) — printed on recycled paper.

Black & white envelope printing

All of our envelopes are printed in black and white (and in every shade of grey in between).

TheOnlinePrinter does NOT print envelopes in colour.

Plain-face and window-face envelopes

Our DL envelopes can be ordered with either a plain-face, or a window-face.

You choose the type of envelope that you want (either plain- or window-face) from the drop-down menu.
Please note that:

Plain-faced envelopes ARE 100% laser printer safe; BUT
Window-faced envelopes are NOT laser printer safe — PLEASE PAY ATTENTION — window-faced envelopes ARE NOT LASER PRINTER SAFE

All C6, C5 and C4 envelopes are plain-faced.

Zip-seal and press-seal envelopes

TheOnlinePrinter's DL envelopes can be supplied as press-seal envelopes or zip-seal envelopes.

Press-seal envelopes are closed by simply:

Folding the lower leaf upwards;
Folding the upper leaf down; and
Pressing the upper and lower leaves together.

Zip-seal envelopes are closed by:

Removing the protective strip from the upper leaf; and
Pressing the upper leaf against the main body of the envelope.

You choose the type of seal that you want on your DL envelope from the drop-down menu.

All C6, C5 and C4 envelopes are offered with press-seals.

Envelopes printed on recycled paper or sustainable plantation stock.

TheOnlinePrinter prints environmentally friendly envelopes, and there is a choice of two environmentally friendly paper stocks:

Our discount priced envelopes are self sealing, plain faced and are printed on a 100gsm stock that contains 70% recycled paper.
Alternately, you can order envelopes that are printed on 100% sustainable plantation stock.

Laser Friendly Envelope Printing

All of our sustainable-plantation and recycled-paper envelopes are 100% laser-printer friendly; that is, you can run our printed envelopes though your laser printer, and neither the printed envelope nor your laser printer will be damaged. This is a very important feature, as non-laser-printer friendly envelopes can damage laser printers (i.e.: the printers can be so damaged that they become useless).

HOWEVER, WINDOW FACED ENVELOPES ARE NOT LASER PRINTER SAFE — PLEASE PAY ATTENTION, WINDOW FACED ENVELOPES ARE NOT LASER PRINTER SAFE.

TheOnlinePrinter also prints laser friendly A4 letterhead and laser friendly A5 letterhead.

Bleeds and Envelope Printing

TheOnlinePrinter does NOT print right to the very edge of the envelope. You must have all text and images at least 10mm inside the edge of the envelope.
